SHRM Foundation #ALLinSTEP Track your Steps

    Dear ALSHRM State Council:

    If you’re joining me at #SHRM17 in New Orleans, go ALL IN by joining my team "Superior SE States" for the #ALLinSTEP Challenge! This fun activity encourages you to track your steps and help our team earn the highest average step total between Sunday, June 18 through Tuesday, June 20. Participants are encouraged to make a $20 suggested registration donation that will benefit two great charities: the SHRM Foundation and their work to empower HR professionals to build inclusive organizations, and Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans and their work to support veteran employment and homelessness in the Big Easy! Registration is open at shrmfoundation.org/stepchallenge and donations can be made at shrmfoundation.org/stepchallengedonation.

    As a reminder, you can also purchase your discounted Fitbit through the program or if you would prefer you can just download an app on your smart phone.

     

    If you’re not able to join me at #SHRM17, you can still join in the step challenge conversation by following #ALLinSTEP and you can make a donation to support your favorite team and to benefit the SHRM Foundation and Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans.     Chapter Leaders, pass this along to your membership too!  You can even ask your chapter membership to join in and to give, even give credit your local chapter or state council! There is an easy drop-down menu for them to simply mark the chapter or council who is to receive the Foundation credit.

     

    I understand that as of June 1 we'll be able to see who is registered and communicate as a team.  This is a fun activity that many of use enjoyed last year.  If you are going to Annual, you WILL be walking a lot anyway, so why not walk for an great cause!
