Ben Eubanks is a speaker, author, and HR professional from Huntsville, AL. During the day he works as an Analyst for Brandon Hall Group, a HCM research and advisory services firm that provides insights around key performance areas, including Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.. During the evening, he writes at upstartHR, an HR blog focusing on leadership, passion, and culture.

 Session Overview

 Social media is here to stay. From the "traditional" social media tools to embedding social into new talent management system features, social is woven throughout the work we do every day. 

So, what now? 

In this session we'll look at some of the ways that social has invaded our workspace (from "Should I friend my boss on Facebook?" to "How can we use social media to drive engagement?") as well as some of the ways we can leverage these tools personally and professionally to make us better at the work we do every day.

At the end of the day you'll have some ideas for how to start utilizing social tools for work as well as being able to better prepared to answer questions from your leaders on how they need to approach this increasingly social workforce. 

During our September 11th Meeting, we will also receive  important updates on the new SHRM Certification Program as well as opportunities to stay involved.  Don't miss out!
