Leadership from the HR Position "Influence, Perspective and Humor How many great leaders do you know with poor interpersonal skills? How many supervisors or managers who have trouble getting along with employees are effective? Aren't work groups who get along more productive? As HR managers, we have great influence in the hiring, training and shaping of the corporate culture by focusing on raising the expectations of interpersonal skills within our company.
Two things that can help us achieve this, is maintaining better "perspective" and allowing more "humor" in our lives. Program Objectives:
• What role do we play in influencing the leadership direction of our company • Developing the "interpersonal skills" of a leader
• How "perspective" helps us better manage ourselves and those around us • The role of humor in the workplace and our lives
