melissa bello sumner
Read Melissa's story, her struggle to find work in a smaller market and determination to work her way up: "My first job with the hospital (a top employer in our region) was as Team Lead at the gift shop. Like Melissa, many HR professionals rely on the support of mentors, peers, communities and charitable organizations like the SHRM Foundation.
Every donation we receive delivers a scholarship to a future leader, furthers HR research, publishes reports and briefings and moves thought leadership forward. For more information about the impact of the SHRM Foundation visit, www.shrmfoundation.org/impact.
