How to Find and Keep the Best Employees
Presented by Kristina Minyard, PHR, from Dynetics and Ben Eubanks
HR is a tough job, and it's made more complex by the unending variety of tasks we have to accomplish. From recruiting to retention, we are charged with finding, selecting, and keeping the best and brightest employees to help our organizations succeed.
And you know what? That's not always easy.
This workshop will focus on the key HR tasks of recruiting and retention and will end with an interactive case study discussion of how to truly impact the business through better HR practices. Attendees will learn:
- Recruiting 101 - the basics
- Recruiting 201 - advanced strategies and tactics
- Retention - how it touches everything we do
- Retention - 20+ tips, tricks, and strategies to try
In addition, the session will culminate with an interactive, "choose your own adventure" style HR case study to allow you to put into practice the techniques and strategies learned during the workshop. This will be a fun, yet informative, way to cap off a great session together.
Please RSVP by emailing mmfike@una.edu or by phone (256) 765-4289
