WE WILL COVER SHOALS CHAPTER EVENTS AND SHRM BENEFITS

    SHRM WEBINAR

Tracie Sponenberg, SHRM-SCP, SPHR is Chief People Officer of The Granite Group. With more than 25 years of experience working with CEOs to transform their organizations through people-first practices, Sponenberg is currently with The Granite Group, a full-service wholesale distributor based in Concord, NH, where she is responsible for leading all people functions for 60 locations across six states and nearly 800 team members.

While Sponenberg used to describe herself as “working in HR,” she now describes herself as a “Business leader specializing in People,” a change that came after her transformation from paper-first to people-first leader and after embracing the importance of learning about the business, technology, the critical nature of relationships, the importance of a growth mindset, speaking up and learning to always put people before profits.

As companies grow, HR teams usually stay the same size. Yet expectations, needs and responsibilities continue to pile on your small (and sometimes even solo) HR team. As HR professionals are required to spend more and more time heads down in tasks and paperwork, companies need more HR and culture-related innovation.

Implementing change, especially when it requires disrupting how you’ve always done things, can be scary.

In this webcast, Tracie Sponenberg with The Granite Group talks about the importance of finding new ways to do the same old tasks, giving you and your team (or lack thereof) the opportunity to add value to your company and culture.

    This session will cover:

    • The growing expectations and responsibilities put on HR teams since the pandemic hit in 2020
    • Why AI in HR tech isn’t as scary as it seems
    • Why investing in HR tech saves the company (and the HR team) time and money
    • Paving the way for HR innovation and its benefits
    • How to stay ahead of innovation and not on top of it
    • Breaking down myths around challenging and expensive technology implementations
